Technology
of polyurethane injection
The technique of the injection of the polyurethane bottom is carried out by using sophisticated rotary machines commonly called WHIRLS, over which the MOULDS and the TREES are mounted and which vary depending on the item and the size and on the basis of the working order to be produced.
The material used to realize the bottom is polyurethane,
coming from the chemical reaction of two liquids compounds,
polyhydric alcohol and isocyanate which, coming into contact
with the mould, change from the liquid condition to the
solid one, taking perfectly the shape of the desired geometrical
drawing.
Over the mould, the tree with the upper is inserted, so that the sole formation perfectly sticks to the upper, without using glues or other assembly materials: this guarantees the creation of soles always perfectly sticking and light, supple and long-lasting, with a high level of shock absorption.
